As the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 nears, Mike Huckabee this week began promoting his company's latest animated educational video for children: "9/11 and the War on Terror." The release of the kids' cartoon has sparked significant criticism, accusing Huckabee of profiting off the 2001 terror attacks.
During an appearance on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club" Tuesday, the former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate noted the company he co-founded, Learn Our History, is releasing a new video "just in time" for the 10th anniversary of the attacks. "The first one is $9.95 and $11.95 after that," Huckabee explained of the ordering process via his company website.

My favourite part is at the beginning when the child asks, "Why?"

I like the blatant discrimination.
Perhaps discrimination wasn't the correct word. Let me see if I can rephrase. I like the blatant 'Lies'. You see, if Al Qaeda wanted to attack 'America' and 'Freedom' then they would have attacked the Statue of Liberty. They didn't. They attacked one of the biggest Capitalist complexes in the world. Every major American Terrorist attack has been on a Government building; Govt buildings steeped in Capitalist transactions (Oklahoma, and NY). 9/11 wasn't an attack on Americans. It was an attack on our ideals, and on our piggish capitalism. Do I think they should have resorted to killing folks? No. Do I think that it was just a matter of time, with the way we live wantonly on the Earth, invading countries, and worshiping the dollar over life and Nature? Yes. A tragedy that we, the American Populous, made ourselves through our own lack of education towards the dealing of our Govt worldwide. *REITERATION* I dont think murder or terror is the key. America has been involved in Terror and Murder for so long, it's really just inevitable that it would hit our shores eventually. Sorry. Discrimination wasn't the right word. Indoctrination, propaganda, Inappropriate for children, tactlessly making a buck off of tragedy (the very thing the terrorists were attacking): Yes. Discrimination: No. My apologies, truly. Capitalizing off of an attack that was trying to make us ashamed for our capitalization seems ridiculous to me.
